The Avtron 1500 Radiator Roof-Mount Load Bank is cooled by the generator radiator and mounted on the roof of the generator enclosure, offering a max capacity up to 600 KW. The Avtron 1500 is intended for use as a supplemental load for lightly loaded diesel engine generator sets to address wet-stacking issues and increase engine life.

- Load Capacity: Max capacity of 10-600kW.
- Standard Voltage Options: 3PH-208V-60Hz, 3PH-480V-60Hz, or 3PH-600V-60Hz.
- Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
- Load Step Resolution: Typically 20-25% of load bank capacity.
- Controller: Remote manual toggle switch controller. Controls include: Power On/Off switch, Master Load On/Off switch, and Individual Load Step switches. Visual indicators include: Power On and Over-Temperature. See Options and Spec Sheet below for other options.
- Cooling: Provided by the generator set cooling system. Requires a minimum CFM airflow.
- Load Elements: Avtron load banks use helically wound chromium alloy Helidyne elements. Elements are fully supported across their entire length by segmented ceramic insulators on stainless steel rods.
- Safety Features: Control circuit fusing, Branch circuit fusing, Over-temperature switch, and Operator warning and caution statements located on appropriate access panels.
- Load Connection: Properly sized input bus bars are provided for load cable installation.
- Enclosure: Heavy-gauge aluminized steel outdoor enclosure.
- Mounting: Mounts directly to the exhaust area on the generator enclosure. Exact radiator core dimensions are required at time of order.
