Avtron 2805 Portable Load Bank (400-500kW)

The Avtron 2805 Portable Resistive Load Bank is ideal for routine load testing of standby diesel generating systems and factory production line testing of UPS systems, turbines, and engine generator sets. Compact and portable for load testing at multiple sites.

FEATURES

• Load Capacity: Up to 400 or 500 kW at 240 and 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz. Capacity derates at other voltages.
• Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
• Load Step Resolution: 5kW minimum at 240 & 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz.
• Controller: Local manual-control via SIGMA LT digital push-button toggle switches and status LED indicators. Controls include Control Power ON/OFF with LED status, Voltage Select with LED status, Master Load with LED status, and LOCAL/REMOTE with LED status. Individual Load Step push buttons with LED status for every load step.
• Instrumentation: Full digital metering included for monitoring of Volts, Amps, Frequency, and kW.
• Control Power: An integral control power transformer is provided for control circuits.
• Cooling Power: Motor obtains power from either the power source under test (motor connected to load bank main load bus) or from a remote three phase power source.
• Cooling System: Approximately 10,700 CFM cooling is provided by an integral blower motor. Horizontal airflow and exhaust. The blower motor circuit is fuse and overload protected.
• Load Elements: Avtron Helidyne Resistor Load Elements; no cool down period required.
• Safety Features: Includes branch circuit fuse protection, and over-temperature & cooling air loss protection.
• Load Connections: Quick-connect male cam-type connectors. Four cam-connections per phase plus one ground (400kW). Six cam-connections per phase plus two ground (500kW).
• Enclosure: Heavy-gauge aluminized steel indoor enclosure with high quality baked polyester powder coated finish. Handles, casters (two fixed and two lockable swivel), lifting eyes, and forklift channels for easy mobility.
