The Avtron 7410 Outdoor Reactive Load Bank is designed for use with a resistive load bank to test a generator or power source at 0.8 power factor (lagging). To achieve a 0.8 power factor, the reactive load bank should be sized at 75% of the resistive load bank KW rating.
FEATURES
- Load Capacity Options: Max capacity of 375, 450, 600, 750, 900, 1125, 1500, or 1875 kVAR.
- Voltage Options: 480V or 600V.
- Load Step Resolution: 3.75 or 37.5 kVAR minimum.
- Controller: Remote manual toggle switch controller. Controls include: Power On/Off switch, Master Load On/Off switch, and Individual Load Step switches. Visual indicators include: Power On and Overtemperature. See Options below for other control options.
- Control/Cooling Power: Requires 120V Single-Phase 60Hz power source. Optional Control Power Transformer is available to receive power from the main power input.
- Cooling: Internal fans provide the necessary cooling air for the load reactors. Fans are protected by overtemperature sensors. Vertical air discharge.
- Load Elements: Reactive elements are of non-saturating single and 3 phase iron-core construction impregnated with high dielectric varnish.
- Safety Features: Blower failure and Overtemperature. Load Step fuses.
- Load Connections: Load connections to the load bank are made at the phase bus bars marked A, B, and C, which are located inside the load end of the unit.
- Load Bank Enclosure: Aluminized steel outdoor weatherproof enclosure with high quality baked polyester powder coated finish. Base is constructed of formed heavy gauge steel making a rigid structure for lifting. Forklift channels are provided.
- Mounting: Designed for outdoor installation on a concrete pad, structural base or trailer.
