Avtron 7900 Resistve/Reactive Load Bank (2000-6250kVA)

The Avtron 7900 Resistive/Reactive Load Bank is designed for outdoor installation and offers a max capacity up to 6250 kVA.

FEATURES

• Load Capacity: Max capacity of 2000 – 6250 KVA.
• Standard Voltage Options: 3PH 480V or 3PH 600V.
• Load Step Resolution: 25kW/18.75 kVAR minimum.
• Controller: Remote manual toggle switch controller. Controls include: Power On/Off switch, Blower Start/ Stop push buttons, Master Load On/Off switch, and Individual Load Step switches. Visual indicators include: Power On, Blower On, and Blower/Air Failure. See Options and Spec Sheet below for other options.
• Control Power: An external 120V, 1 phase, 60 Hz supply is required for control circuit operation. An optional Control Power Transformer is available – see Options below.
• Cooling Power: External 480V, 3 phase, 60 Hz power source is required.
• Cooling: Approximately 20,000 CFM cooling per resistor stack is provided by integral TEFC or TEAO motor which is direct coupled to the cooling fan blade. Vertical airflow and discharge. The fan motor is fully protected with fuses, motor starter contractor, and overload relay.
• Resistor Load Elements: Avtron load banks use helically wound chromium alloy Helidyne elements. Elements are fully supported across their entire length by segmented ceramic insulators on stainless steel rods.
• Reactor Load Elements: Reactive elements are of non-saturating single and 3 phase iron-core construction impregnated with high dielectric varnish.
• Safety Features: A differential pressure switch provides cooling air loss protection, An over-temperature switch is provided to sense load bank exhaust temperature, Operator warning and caution statements are located on appropriate access panels.
• Load Connection: Power terminals are located behind a hinged access panel. The 7900 has a recommended conduit entry area underneath the power terminal assembly to facilitate load cable installation.
• Enclosure: Constructed of heavy gauge steel designed for continuous outdoor weatherproof operation. ISO corner fittings are provided for overhead lifting.
• Mounting: Designed for outdoor installation on a concrete pad, structural base or trailer.
