Trystar LP150 Portable Load Bank (150kW)

The Trystar LP150 Portable Resistive Load Bank offers a load capacity up to 150 kW in a lightweight portable package.

• Model LP150-240-480-10M Load Capacity: Up to 150kW at 480VAC, 3-Phase, 60Hz; 143.75kW at 240VAC, 3-Phase, 60Hz. Derates to 107.8kW at 208VAC, 3-Phase, 60Hz.
• Model LP150-480-10M Load Capacity: Up to 150kW at 480VAC, 3-Phase, 60Hz Only.
• Full Load Amps at 150kW: 180 Amps at 480 VAC.
• Full Load Amps at 143.75kW: 345 Amps at 240 VAC.
• Full Load Amps at 107.8kW: 299 Amps at 208 VAC.
• Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
• Load Step Resolution: 10kW minimum at 480VAC.
• Controls: Main Power On/Off switch, Master Load On/Off switch, and Individual Load Step switches (KW On/Off) provided for each load step. Illuminated indicators provided for Power On, Over-Temperature/Airflow failure, and Wrong Voltage Applied.
• Digital Power Meter (M): Fully equipped, 3-phase Digital Metering System that measures a standard range of 16 load parameters. Includes RS485 (Modbus protocol) for remote reading – compatible with PC, PLC, and data loggers.
• Control/Cooling Power: External 120 Volt AC, 1-phase, 10 Amp source. A 15’ detachable line cord is provided.
• Cooling System: Integrally mounted high-performance high-velocity cooling fans deliver the required airflow volume for cooling
  resistor load elements. Cooling airflow is drawn from the screened air-intake side, with hot air exhausted from opposite side of the unit away from personnel.
• Load Elements: PowerDyne™ Resistor Load Elements provide the necessary KW load rating for each load step. Change in resistance is minimized by maintaining conservative, thermally de-rated resistor designs and by utilizing a high-quality nickel chrome alloy. Tolerance is 5%.
• Safety Features: Over-Temperature / Airflow failure protection. Fuses for short-circuit protection.
• Load Connections: Quick connect-disconnect color-coded male cam-type power connectors with protective snap-back covers. (1 per Phase, 1 Ground).
• Enclosure: Constructed of aluminum and galvanized steel with powder coat paint finish. Two folding pull handles for easy lifting and positioning. Durable, quiet, swivel casters for simple maneuverability.
