Trystar LS50-200 Stationary Load Bank (50-200kW)

The Trystar LS50-200 Stationary Load Bank is designed for outdoor installation and offers a max capacity up to 200 KW.

FEATURES

• Load Capacity: Max capacity of 50, 75, 100, 150, or 200kW.
• Standard Voltage Options: Dual Voltage 240/480V 3PH or Single Voltage 480V 3PH.
• Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
• Load Step Resolution: 10kW minimum.  Also see Options below.
• Controller: Remote manual toggle switch controls in a wall-mount enclosure. Controls include: Main Power On/Off switch, Blower Start/Stop push button, Master Load On/Off switch, Individual Load Step switches. Load Voltage Selector switch (dual voltage units), and Emergency Stop button. Fault condition smart indicators provide operator display and load disconnect during Air-Flow Failure, Over-temperature, Motor Overload, Load Dump, and Wrong Voltage Applied (dual voltage units).  Also see Options below.
• Control Power: An Integral Control Power Transformer is provided for control circuit operation. Also see Options below.
• Cooling Power: Blower motor is factory-wired to the main load bus. Also see Options below.
• Cooling: Integrally mounted blower motor with high-performance, direct-driven fan blade delivers the required airflow volume (CFM) for cooling resistor load elements. Motor circuits are short-circuit protected by current-limiting fuses and thermally protected by overload relay.
• Load Elements: Avtron load banks use helically wound chromium alloy Helidyne elements. Elements are fully supported across their entire length by segmented ceramic insulators on stainless steel rods.
• Safety Features: Emergency-Stop push button allows the operator to take the unit off-line should a critical hard-stop condition occur. Branch circuit fuse protection provides short-circuit fault protection of all load steps eliminating the potential for catastrophic failure. Blower On, Motor Overload, Air-Flow Failure, and Over-temperature circuits disable all load steps during a fault condition with operator visual indicators. Dual Voltage units feature a Wrong Voltage Applied protection circuit which prevents the application of 480 VAC with the Load Voltage Selector switch in the 240 VAC position. The Load Dump circuit provides the operator visual indication if all load steps have been removed.
• Load Connection: Terminal compartment provided for customer load connections.
• Enclosure: Constructed of galvanized steel with the highest quality durable powder-coat paint finish and external stainless steel fasteners. All power, motor, and control connections are provided in a sealed thermostatically controlled heated compartment to limit any harmful effects of moisture and condensation. Vertical airflow with gravity hood provides the highest capacity in the smallest installed footprint, and exhausts hot-air away from personnel and other installed equipment. The enclosure is stationary-type, outdoor construction, installed and operated on a floor, roof-top, or concrete pad. Forklift channels are provided within the base for ease of lifting and handling during installation.

• A fully equipped, 3-phase Digital Power Metering System that measures a standard range of 16 load parameters.
• Includes RS485 (Modbus protocol) for remote reading – compatible with PC, PLC, and data loggers.

• Provides automatic load regulation helping to minimize engine wet-stacking.
• Senses the downstream connected load and adjusts the amount of supplemental load bank steps applied.
