Universal R400H-R500H-R600H Portable Load Bank (400-600kW)

The Universal R400H-R500H-R600H Portable Resistive Load Bank is designed for testing various power systems up to 400, 500, or 600kW. Designed for continuous indoor or outdoor operation these load banks are the ideal choice for load testing in rugged service or rental environments.

• R400H Load Capacity: 400kW at 240 & 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz. Derates to 300kW at 208VAC 3PH 60Hz.
• R500H Load Capacity: 500kW at 240 & 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz. Derates to 375kW at 208VAC 3PH 60Hz.
• R600H Load Capacity: 600kW at 240 & 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz. Derates to 450kW at 208VAC 3PH 60Hz.
• Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
• Load Step Resolution: 5kW at 240/480V.
• Controls: Local digital color touchscreen controller.
• Remote Control: External ethernet port is provided to mimic the control screen using free software for remote control using a customer provided laptop, PC, or tablet.
• Instrumentation: Digital metering (V, A, kW) and data logging.
• Control Power: Control power via internal dual voltage transformer or from external 120V 1Ph source.
• Cooling Power: Blower power from load or external 480/240 3Ph source.
• Cooling System: Integral forced-air cooling system with horizontal airflow.
• Load Elements: ULB “Helicon” high-capacity Nichrome load elements. Elements are fully supported with stainless steel rods and high temperature refractory ceramics for quick heat discharge.
• Safety Features: Over-temperature, over/under voltage, cooling-air loss, and current imbalance protection.
• Load Connections: Quick disconnect cam-type male connectors (4 per Phase, 2 Ground).
  
• Daisy Chained: Multiple load banks can be hooked together for higher load capacity.
• Enclosure: Heavy gauge steel indoor/outdoor enclosure with powder coat finish. Designed to NEMA 3R standards for outdoor operation. Hinged access doors with lockable latches. High impact caster wheels and forklift pockets for easy mobility.
