Universal R650 Portable Load Bank (650kW)

The Universal R650 Portable Resistive Load Bank is ideal for testing and maintaining generators and UPS Systems up to 650kW.

FEATURES

• Load Capacity: 650kW at 240 & 480 VAC 3PH 60Hz. Derates to 487kW at 208VAC 3PH.
• Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
• Load Step Resolution: 5kW at 240/480V.
• Controls: Digital touchscreen.
• Instrumentation: Digital metering (V, A, kW) and data logging.
• Control/Cooling Power: Integrated Dual Voltage Control Transformer for control circuit operation.  Control/cooling power derived from load bus. (See Options below for optional external power supply.)
  
• Cooling System: Quiet high efficiency cooling fan.
• Load Elements: Resistor elements are high-temperature nichrome/mica type exclusively manufactured by Universal Load Banks and supported by stainless steel rods.
• Safety Features: Over-temperature, over/under voltage, cooling-air loss and 3 phase imbalance protection, load dump, and internal fuses for load element groups.
• Load Connections: Quick disconnect cam-type male connectors on the front of the load bank (4 per Phase, 1 Ground).
  
• Enclosure: Heavy gauge steel NEMA 3R enclosure with caster wheels, fork lift slots and lifting hooks.
