This Powertron Dual Purpose MTS Series Tap Box (TBQCDP08) offers a single phase 800A manual transfer, male camlock connections for a temporary mobile generator, and female camlock connections for a temporary load bank. UL1008 Listed.
FEATURES
- Manual Transfer Switch: Manually transfer the emergency power source from the permanent standby generator to a temporary mobile generator to allow load bank testing of the permanent standby generator.
- MTS Rating: 800A, 120/240V, 1-Phase, 2-Pole, 3-Wire, 60Hz, Solid Neutral.
- Load Bank Connection: Easily connect a load bank to test your permanent standby generator.
- Load Bank Receptacles: Series 16, 400A, 600V, female camlock receptacles (two sets).
- Load Bank Interlock: Load Bank receptacles are interlocked with a Panduit Absence of Voltage detector.
- Load Dump Receptacle: L1-R15 Twist Lock Receptacle provided for easy load dump circuit connection.
- Mobile Generator Connection: Easily connect a mobile generator for backup power while load bank testing your permanent generator.
- Mobile Generator Receptacles: Series 16, 400A, 600V, male camlock receptacles (two sets).
- Cold Weather Receptacles: GFCI 20A receptacles allow power to be provided safely to a mobile generator block heater and battery charger for cold weather operation.
- Remote Start/Stop Terminals: Provides a connection to remotely start your temporary mobile generator.
- Permanent Standby Generator Connection: Mechanical lugs.
- Load/ATS Connection: Mechanical lugs.
- Trapped Cable Door: Prevents camlock cables from being disconnected from the tap box by unauthorized personnel.
- Locked Panel Door: Includes two key lock handles for security and safety.
- Harsh Weather Protection: Pad-mount NEMA 3R weather-tight outdoor steel enclosure. (An optional stainless steel enclosure is also available)
