Trailer-Mounted Load Banks

Steadypower offers quality trailer-mounted load banks from Avtron, Mosebach, Simplex, Trystar, and Universal Load Banks (ULB) with max capacities ranging from 300-3000kW. LOAD BANKS

• Max Load Capacity: 300, 400, 450, 500, 600, 650, 750, 800, 1000, 1250, 1500, 2000, 2500, or 3000 kW. (Capacity rated up to 2,000 feet elevation from sea level. Derates at higher elevations.)
• Dual Voltage Options: Most models are dual voltage rated at 480V 3PH 60Hz and 240V 3PH 60Hz.  The 5600/5605 1250kW, R1250H, 5900/5905 2000kW, Trident 1500-2500, and XL2000-3000 has a lower 240V rating.  Capacity derates at lower voltages such as 208V.  
• Single Voltage Options: The Neptune is also available at 208V only or 480V only. The 5820 1500kW and 5900 2000kW is also available at 480V only. The 5820 2000kW, 5830, and 5900/5905 2500kW are only available at 480V.
• Duty Cycle: Rated for continuous operation.
• Load Step Resolution: 5kW, 25kW, or 50kW.
• Controls: Toggle switches or digital touchscreen.
• Instrumentation: Digital metering and data logging (varies by model).
• Control Power: Typically from internal tested load via control voltage transformer.  Some models may also offer control power from external 120V 1Ph source.
• Cooling Power: Typically from tested load.  Some models may also offer cooling power from external 3PH source.
• Cooling System: Integral forced-air cooling system with horizontal or vertical airflow.
• Safety Features: Varies per model.
• Load Connections: Typically via quick disconnect cam-type male connectors.
• Enclosure: NEMA 3R outdoor enclosure.

STEADYPOWER TRAILERS

• We offer numerous trailer options with single or tandem axles, a range of axle and GVW ratings, and various bed sizes to offer the perfect load bank solution for you.
• All trailers include DOT approved lighting and electrical connections, wheel-mounted tires, front tongue jack, two rear stabilizer jacks, safety chains and hooks, and four heavy-duty D-rings.
• Tandem-axle trailers include electric brakes.
• Choice of Ball or Pintle hitch.

STEADYPOWER CABLE REELS

• Each reel holds up to 725ft or 1250ft of 4/0 cable.
• Choice of manual, electric 12VDC, or electric 120VAC rewind.
• Electric reels offer an enhanced push button control switch. A bonus foot switch with 15ft connection cable is also provided for easy hands-free cable rewind (up to two foot switches provided per trailer).
• A 20-25ft power cable is provided to attach to the 12V battery or plug into a common 120V outlet.
